Peavey / Cant Hook

Anybody know where I can buy one?

You could probably make one if you cant find a second hand one, they seem to be very expensive for all they are.

That is the only one I have found, and seems expensive, when you include C and P.
I could do with seeing one to get some idea of dimensions to make one.

You just need to make it work on the biggest Log that you want to turn.

buy a jemmy bar, you don't need one of these for sawing wood.

Sam bought one these a couple of years ago; its the most usefull peice of kit we take when we go sawing. Its not used once the timber is on the table, but rolling or twitching timber on the ground or up the ramps onto the bench, its value is immense. Needs the hook slightly opening out for the biggest logs.

If you need to roll round timber, Dave you will soon be wondering how you got on without it!

Not quite the same but with the leg cut off a timberjack (their name) from Nortern tools would do the job for you at about half the price. Regards Percy

This is the same as the one that I bought, yes it was made by stihl and yes, its was a litlle bit pricey, but at times its the handiest tool in the box when maneuvering timber on the floor....

Also here, however not sure what the shipping cost would be, generally not a bad forestry equipment web site. They're supplied in different size, as dad and i thought about bending hook out on my one slightly as does struggle to grab realy big wood, all very well moving big wood, but the work has to be put in on the other end of the handle!
