4.5" Foden c-type

Due to personal circumstances I am having to sell my 4.5” scale Foden c-type! It is going to be hard to let it go so serious enquiries only please.

It is a Steam Traction World Kit Foden which was professionally finished by lynxmodelworks last year in March/May.
I got the engine back in May of last year where it did one rally!

The engine has had a lot of modification done to it to improve it at great expense! The diff gears where replaced with EN8 ones, cylinder block removed and liners pressed out and resealed, new one piece crankshaft and new main bearings and injector redone so it now works at full pressure I am sure there is lots and lots I have forgotten about but it has had everything done to it to make sure it runs A1 as my intensions where to keep it!

The Foden has 7 years left on its hydraulic test and is steamed tested until June.

The Foden is road registered on a 10 plate and taxed until June as well.

Like I say serious enquires only please its going to be hard enough to see it go without Messer’s.

I know have a Ifor Williams box trailer for the foden if it make it any easier for those beeing put of with having to collect from Aberdeen

The trailer cost £2500 so that will have to be paid on top of the engine price BUT if you plan to take the engine to rallies then you will need a big trailer anyway.

For those that have enquired about the foden.

I am willing to take a p/ex on a complete kit for a 4"scale burrell or part built one and money my way or to take on a 4"scale stw RL.

Maybe interested in other projects in 3" or 4" scale but it needs to be money my way.

FOR SALE AGAIN due to a complete time waster who wanted the engine said he would have it and has just decided to change his mind and send me a txt!

This is a as new engine it has had a lot of money spent on it as my intention was to keep it not sell it, it is getting its boiler test next week by royal sun and alliance so will come with 12 months steam test.

Foden now has a 12 month steam test, passed its steam test on Thursday with flying colours with Royal Sun Alliance.
