I think what Steve is trying to say is that there were no "Cornish" variety of Traction Engine. I saw one at Torbay Rally in 2009

cornish engines

Steve is meaning that there wasn't any cornish registration or engines that actually worked here in cornwall on display at the show, All the engines at the show but two live here in cornwall, two coming from devon.
Would be nice to have a cornish engine reunion or get together, were are all the AF reg engines know because most are not here in cornwall

And the CV engines!

Sounds like a CTPC special rally, following on to RCS 2017 !

As it is NO Cornish engines at the show, AF, CV , RL reg = Cornish

So the Chough doesn't count as a Cornish engine then? (I appreciate she was not at the show)

I did state that on my first post.
If you change the plates it will then become a conversion and you may have problems on here then !!!

Who said you're going next year anyway ?? The man said 'All change' for next year !!!!

Steve.

Steve, in my opinion NO, a Cornish engine would be supplied new to Cornwall ! Some of these engines would no doubt have been displayed either on a sales stand or as new supplied, at very early Royal Cornwall Shows, hence AF, CV and RL reg,

Steve
