I love the little Salisbury roller.

Cracking pics - thanks for sharing them. I love to see these engines with all their 'colonial' features and fittings. Long may they remain in the Antipodes.

Had a bloody amazing week and half in Tassie! A beautiful place with some equally beautiful engines! Thank you to all the owners (especially Marshall8nhp for being my guide) for making me welcome and for letting me play on all your engines! The National Rally was good, the road run was brilliant, loverly scenery, great hospitality, great food and great people! Steamfest has got to be the busiest show for its size I have ever been too, really was good to see so many of the engine working as they were built! The Salisbury is a fantastic roller, a little engine which goes well despite being only single speed! I will never forget driving a Tasmanian built engine on Tassie roads celebrating 150 years of steam traction coming to Tasmania!
