Power Major exhaust elbow
My uncle has got a Power Major with a bucket on it, which means that He's got the low exhaust, but He's seen one with the upright exhaust going thro' the bonnet via an elbow with a sort of twist in it, this might well be an after market component, but if You've got one hanging up in the shed surplus to requirements, give Me a PM and I'll try to put You in touch.
Cheers for now Steve B. |
Steve, I have a Power Major with loader and it has the ordinary upright elbow and is well clear of the arms. Agriline supply them and are easily found ont tinterweb.

Thanks Steve, will pass that on to Tom, I've got it in mind that His loader isn't standard. |
The loader on mine is a Milmaster, a common fitment across the board of tractors through the 50s, 60s and 70s, indeed we have a IH 434 with one fitted. I will try and get a photo tomorrow of the Major in an appropriate position for your info.

This is what he's after, ours had a loader to, though not sure what type.
I'm led to believe they are quite rare. I did wonder if it would be worth making a pattern for them. I don't imagine there would be a lot of demand though. http://www.steamscenes.org.uk/tti/20/015_1026.jpg |
Thank you both, I'll let Tom know, and take it from there, mind You I'd think that the dynamo has a rare old time of it.
