Sewards Steam and Vintage Gathering
Went and had a look after finishing work, caught them on the road run, coming out of Petersfield. Then went to the pub for a drink in the Evening. Had a great time. Nice to see the Ransomes Waggon which is new to the area, the event was full of lots of nice people. Here is a video for starters, ill post photos later.

We Had a great weekend Thanks again to Wendy Lloyd and Kevin for putting on a really good event! Had a very enjoyable weekend passed through petersfield town centre twice on the roadrun and got raptuous applause from the locals sitting outside the pub!

An excellent event, with a couple of engines that I haven't seen before. Well worth the journey down from East Anglia. Here are a few of my efforts from Saturday.

This event just gets better and better. It's what this game should be like but all too rarely is. Well done Lloyd, Wendy and Kevin. The steam pictures posted here are excellent but there were some very sexy cars too which I'll put up later.

Oi you lot!! Dont forget the miniatures.
lovely Foden tractor on the Saturday and a different Foden on the Sunday along with a 3" Fowler ploughing engine. We were there all weekend with our 3" Fowler A8 sawing and we also put up the gallopers. Its an amazing little event really, bit of military, few tractors, lots of cars including a gorgeous Stanley steamer, quite a lot of motorcycles and an extensive row of pop-pops. Along with the 8 full size engines its pretty cool for a local event. It was well organised as usual an we were well looked after. Many thanks to Wendy an her team for organising it an thanks to the Spread Eagle for putting up with us! Cheers Wizz |
Im going to try and post some photos, this photo is the reason why the video I posted was cut short, I couldn't miss an oppertunity to catch a photo of "Lady" storming up the hill.

Great pictures that reflect a brilliant event! I especially liked the Aveling that was making its return to the rally circuit. Road run was very good and it seemed like everyone enjoyed it judging by the grins on their faces. Nice to see Lady Pride of England out and about in the county again.

Thanks to everyone who came along to the Sewards event weather you we an exhibitor or the public you help make the weekend what is was. We hope that you all had a good time. It’s great to see all the pictures that have been posted in this thread as we don’t get to see the road run so if you have more please post them... Hopefully we will post some of our pictures later today. Thanks again and here’s looking forward to 2011...
