Honiton Hill Rally.

Having just returned from a holiday in the South West; I have a few pictures from the Honiton Hill Rally. I attended on the Sunday when the cold and wet discouraged standing about looking at exhibits for any length of time (if at all), the refreshment tent with the pianola playing was a good place to be, but I did notice that there were a lot of interesting things to see and the rally was very good value for money. It was good to see that there was a comprehensive programme available but it did contain some bizarre entries, why doesn't someone proof-read these?

I dropped in on Saturday on the way to Sandy Bay to see their engines. Just caught a few coming in and unloading. Certainly was soft on the field.

Life in the commentary box was interesting to say the least - for most of the rally we couldn't see more that about 25 feet into the ring!!! In 20 years of 'chat' I haver never before experienced such fog/mist at a rally. Ironically the sun came out as we were presenting awards at the end of the show at about 4pm on Monday. At least it was sunny to drive down to GDSF........
