Looking for 4" scale realistic looking workmen figures

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Hi There,
Could anyone tell me where I can get some realistic looking workmen figures to go with my dads 4" scale outfit? A Clayton traction engine, ransomes thresher, living van and trailer.

We don’t want it to look too gimmicky but a lot of people at shows don’t seem to realise the outfit is a scaled down version of the real thing. Although, since we added the living van with smoking chimney more people seem to get it.

I tried the internet but can't find anything suitable. I reckon the models should be maybe 20" or 500mm

I was thinking one standing behind, another on top of the thresher and maybe one in the living van

Any ideas

Thanks
Donal

Try Google for 18" figures

Surely you want 24" figures for a 4" engine based on a 6ft tall workman?

In steam days, 100 years ago, very few people were anything like 6' tall. More like 5' 6".
