This is all very well, just sad that from my own experience and talking to others. It is easier for a camel to pass through the eye of a needle, than for new people to get a place at Lincoln rally.

I am just the guest commentator I would say for you to ring Glyn Macdonald

What section are you trying to exhibit in? When I started exhibiting a few years ago I asked the section head and got an entry form a few weeks later.

We were looking to exhibit in the miniature section, Enquired in January and told it was full, having spoken to several people both with minatures and full size engines, We were told don't bother with Lincoln its a complete closed shop and one of the regulars needs to die before you get a place

I always have new full size and miniatures in the arena every year as I have had since this rally has been run 28 years, put your name forward each year, all rallies have a capacity number, I know this as I have had to wait to display my 1/24th at some events including Stourpaine its a case of being patient and you will get in.

Exaclty. Most sections at Lincoln probably have a waiting list. This is because it is such a good rally.

Try speaking to the relavent section head and see what the situation is. Thats what I did when I wanted to start exhibiting there a few years ago.

Listen out for the two blasts on the whistle! We should be sawing around about half 10 - 11ish. Depending on how ready we are! Ah so with all those unwanted programmes you'll be able to confuse everyone by reading from those instead?

Dan I thought that was what I did now!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ive heard the same thing from the stationary section also some more disconcerting rumours about running engines.
